PRODUCER
Podere Il Palazzino
Podere il Palazzino is owned and operated by brother Alessandro and Andrea Sclerci. The Sclerci family has owned the property, located a few miles northeast of Siena, since the 19th century. The 50-acre estate is mostly given over to vineyards, though olive trees are also grown. Poder il Palazzino makes Chianti, and reviewers have been impressed. Vinous noted this: “Il Palazzino and the Sclerci brothers excel with powerful wines that capture the breadth and richness that is such a signature of the Monti subzone of Gaoile. …. The house style will find greatest resonance with readers who appreciate structured, intense wines. “
